Listed hedge fund firm Och Ziff's Asia and Global funds end 2010 up double digits

Opalesque Industry Update: Publicly traded hedge fund firm Och Ziff Capital Management Group (OZM) returned above average performance in 2010, with all four funds notching gains ahead of industry-wide year end results (HFRX Global Hedge Fund Index up 4.52% (est.) in 2010), according to documents filed with the SEC on Tuesday.

The firm’s four funds all delivered December gains, ending the year at:

OZ Master Fund Ltd - +0.78% (+8.44%YTD)

OZ Europe Master Fund Ltd +1.07% (+7.23% YTD)

OZ Asia Master Fund Ltd +0.94% (+10.08% YTD)

OZ Global Special Investments Master Fund LP +1.58% (+13.16%YTD)

Assets remained at approximately $27.6bn. The firm’s share prices ended Tuesday down -0.43% at $15.26 per share.
