Mexican peso proves winner as emerging market currencies tank

There is still an emerging-market currency holding on to year-to-date gains against the U.S. dollar, and it’s on track to break through a key level soon.
That currency is the Mexican peso , the only floating emerging-market currency that has gained against the dollar in 2013 to date, said Win Thin, global head of emerging market currency strategy at Brown Brothers Harriman.
