No to carbon tax or ETS

It is wrong to suggest there is any genuine mainstream business support for an emissions trading scheme. Cost-sensitive and energy-reliant businesses across Australia oppose both an ETS and the carbon tax.
The reason is simple: trade-exposed and vulnerable sectors such as manufacturing are already under enough pressure from international economic uncertainty and exchange rate volatility.
