Surveyed hedge fund members believe Jeb Bush most likely Republican presidential candidate (not Donald Trump)

The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable recently surveyed its members on the topic of income inequality in America, with a "bonus" question on Republican candidates.

On the latter question, 59% of the respondents said Jeb Bush was most likely to end up as the nominated Republican presidential candidate. The other candidates attracted a lot less faith: 15% for Donald Trump, 15% for Scott Walker, 7% for Chris Christie and 4% for Marco Rubio. And for the Republican vice presidential candidate ticket, 25% named John Kasich; 21% Marco Rubio; 17% Ben Carson; 8% Scott Walker; 8% Kelly Ayotte; 8% Donald Trump; 5% Ted Cruz; 4% Chris Christie; and 4% Jeb Bush.

While Bush has been eclipsed by Trump in opinion polls, another financial players survey views the former Florida governor favourably; online traders give Bush a 40% chance to capture the party's presidential nomination, according to prediction market aggregator PredictWise.com.
