Ecce Vinum launches fine wine fund with 15% target return

A group of wine experts and passionates has launched Ecce Vinum, a fund dedicated to investing in fine wines.

Regis Hardouin-Finez, a renowned expert who founded the wine pages of Le Figaro, Alexandre Pons who was sommelier at the French embassy in London, Stuart George, holder of the prestigious WSET diploma, Arnaud Fatôme, Master of Port and expert in wine auctions, together with Charles Mesnil and Pierre-Marie Giet, who have an extensive experience in investments, met around this simple idea: To gather their expertise to form a vehicle for elite investors, generating value and opening access to exclusive wines.

Giet said in the company brochure, "Our approach strongly relies on our network within the exclusive world of the fine wines. We visit the owners of the Chateaux, we taste the wines, we are in constant liaison with the official merchants and brokers, we speak to the famous wine advisors.
