Blue Skye acquires hedge fund Investment Science Asset

Brisbane-based investment fund manager Blue Sky Alternative Investments Limited said it has finalized details to acquire multi-award winning hedge fund Investment Science Asset Management, several media reports said.

According to FinNewsnetwork.com.au, the $400m Bly Sky will acquire ownership of the much smaller Investment Science ($70m in assets). The deal comprises $100% Blue Sky scrip and upfront and deferred consideration components.

In a statement, Blue Sky said the acquisition of Investment Science creates a synergy to achieve its ......................
