Skybridge to hold SALT hege fund conference in Singapore in 2012

Encouraged by the strong response to its three previous Skybridge Alternatives (SALT) Conferences, Anthony Scaramucci, Founder and Managing Partner of the $7.46bn alternative asset manager SkyBridge Capital, has announced that he would be bringing the SALT Conference to Singapore next year.

Speaking to Opalesque’s Greg Despoelberch in an exclusive interview for Opalesque TV, Scaramucci disclosed that his firm has already talked with "very high profile speakers" to join the Singapore SALT Conference, which will be held in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

He did not yet disclose the schedule for the conference, but added that he had already visited the venue and conducted an on-sight evaluation. He was satisfied with what he had seen, he said.

The Singapore SALT Conference will take place in addition to the scheduled SALT Conference in Las Vegas, which is to be held from May 8 - 11, 2012 in the Bellagio.

"I see the conference business as helping Skybridge establish itself as a leader in the world of alternative investments," Scaramucci told Opalesque.
